I was experimenting with different designs of beads on bracelet wire, aslo known as memory wire or recoil wire. I made some interesting combinations of beads but, I felt my creations were ordinary - not unique enough. I pray the Rosary, and I wondered if it was possible to make a full Rosary on a bracelet. As I counted out and placed the beads in proper order I realized I had created a very unique item. The purpose of this bracelet is to always have a beautiful piece of jewelry to wear and to always have a full Rosary with you at all times. Sometimes it can be awkward to pray the Rosary in public places and my bracelet offers a descreet way for people to pray. The idea in itself is a novel one because it looks like and ordinary bracelet. What makes my bracelet different from other Rosary bracelets is it consists of ALL 5 decades, the Crucifix and the Miraculous Medal. My Rosary Bracelet is the FULL Rosary not the partial one, (as other Rosary bracelet are). The other novel feature offered by my design is that it is very easy to put on and take off your wrist. It doeasn't have a traditional clasp, because it is made of a single piece of wire that wraps around the wrist. To my knowledge there is not anything close to my design. I performed a copywrite search through the Library of Congress over the internet on September 6, 2001 and there were NO references to any Rosary bracelets." Theresa M.
